Em Ike, OTR/L, CLT

Em Ike (they/them) is a pelvic floor occupational therapist and the owner of Pioneer Valley Pelvic Health, LLC. They specialize in treating LGBTQIA+ people of all genders with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Em attended Hampshire College for their undergraduate degree, focusing on gender and sexuality education and developing resources for intersex children. They received their Masters of Science in Community Health Education from Columbia University in 2013, and their Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in 2020.

Em deeply respects the vulnerability it takes to seek treatment for pelvic floor issues. In their sessions, Em hopes to make you feel comfortable, validated, and supported. Their goal is to help you feel connected to your body and approach it with curiosity rather than fear and judgement, and provide a space for you to feel empowered with the knowledge that your body has the capacity for healing and change.

Em is a queer, non-binary person living in the Pioneer Valley with their spouse, two dogs, and two cats. Em enjoys rest and relaxation, being outdoors, weaving and other crafts, eating snacks, and connecting with the people and animals that they love.
